Story :
Meet Simon, an ordinary boy that work as a digger in Jeeha Village, an underground village and Kamina, a local delinquent who want to go to the surface. Their fate become complicated when Simon find a small Ganmen (a robot that looks like a giant face with arms and legs) and a key to activate it and in a short period of time, they have to face the truth about their world. With the help of their friends, Yoko, an expert gunner and many others, they start the journey to defeat the Spiral King and the beastmen.

Okay....it's been a long time since i watch such a great anime like this.
One word can describe this anime : FIGHT !
This is an anime that the main story is about a boy who refuse to give up in every problem he faced, no matter what kind of result, he still strike through the problem and manage to solve it even if it seems impossible.
"Your drill is a drill that will reach the heaven !"
One main plot of this anime is about Spirals (Rasen). In This anime, it's said that every human have spiral power inside their body which formed as double helix DNA (yep, the shape is just like a spiral double band) and it gives human power to face their fate. And everything in Tengen Toppa Gurren-Lagann world work in spiral way, the galaxy it self revolve and form a spiral formation.
Well overally, this is a very good anime. The storyline is pretty good and i must say that it's unpredictable. After watch it by yourself, you will understand what i means. And it's full of spirit, friendship and courage, although you could find romance in this anime. It makes you infected by the spirit of 'never give up' after see this anime.
